Custom APC40

hey guys

just heard about the forum and wanted to check it out. i saw that a few of you were curious about changing the physical characteristics of the apc40, so i thought i'd share a picture of mine. i bought some really nice zebra wood and sanded the frame down to the bone. after hours of sanding/finishing/painting, i put everything back together and it worked like it was never taken apart! i'm still looking into getting those pimped out chrome knobs, but it's hard when you're a broke college grad! anyways, hope you all enjoy and will be looking forward to sharing some ideas!

Now that does look wicked....

Chrome / Ally Knobs and faders and you wouldnt even recognise it...

Yes... That is dope looking.

Out of curriosity what kind of paint did you use. I'm wanting to do something similar. I just don't want a unit that starts chipping and pealing after carying out to a couple shows.

The picture is dead in here, could we get it replaced?
