Sample cuing. WTF

Yo, I hate having to ask it but here it goes....just got the APC and havnt mapped it yet, (another conversation)

How do i trigger a sample to play as i hit the button rather than just quantized to the beat, basically as a sampler. It works with a midi track if i have logic or my session pulled up, but wanted to assign it to a clip and rock it that way.

Hi there, in the clip itself you need to set the launch quantization to none rather than global..... If you want some quantization you can choose any of the other options though, i normally stick to 16ths for sample juggling stuff...
