Hi, i have another question..

when in play only one clip master volume is nicely at 0 db, but when i start second clip on other channel the master volume increases and go in the "red zone" .. I'm sure that there is simple explanation for that, but i couldn't find anything in the web. I'm total newbie.

If you add the volumes of the two clips together it's likely that your overall volume is going to increase, you might consider putting a limiter on the main track if this is a problem??

i used to get so pissed off everytime i went into a dj booth and all you see is people clipping the mixer! people really have no idea how much better it sounds when you keep it from clipping let alone how less likely you are to blow the sound system!

even with everything on 0 db with limiter or not, I must to put the gain mixer on the club all the way up.
It happens with both of my sound cards, m-audio and focusrite.

I use them bus powered on a macbook pro.

Also I get drop outs sudenttly or when I switch some eletric thing on or off in my room and or club.

Please take a deep breath and try to help me with those questions, because It all is the only things avoiding my sussefull jouney !

I;d look at getting a power conditioner to connect your laptop and APC40 to, that way it should stop any urges from the venue effecting performance...
