clip launch delay

Ok, so i have been splitting up songs as demonstrated by william marshall. I properly give each clip the correct follow action but once the following clip is supposed to launch the audio drops for about 20 seconds. Any ideas?

Have you specified the quantization time (None, 1 bar, 1/2, 1/4 or whatever)

yes, i have played around with the quantization: global, none, 1/2, 1 bar, etc. all clips have a seriously long delay. I played around with the set quantization as well. perhaps using a wav file would facilitate this process? not sure. any help would be very appreciated.
