apc40 mapping help, please
Hi guys, i just got my apc40 a few days ago and I need some help with the mapping. Im using the apc40 for djing live. I am running Live8.1.1
I want mine mapped like Dave Winnel ( https://www.youtube.com/user/davewubbek#p/u/13/0tPiLX3ZJi8 ) and also like Riley and Durrant ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88o21-nSu4I ) . I really like how they have theirs set up, especially Winnel's way he mapped it.
So, my question is, How do you go about doing it? also, how do you get your music library (all my stuff from itunes) into ableton live8 to do your dj sets?
Please let me know, its very much appriciated!!!

Re: apc40 mapping help, please
Hi Will....
Firstly welcome, it may be a bit quiet round here but the help you get will normally be useful!!
Firstly getting tracks into ABleton is a simple as dragging and dropping from itunes to an empty clip slot in session view...
Depending on how new to Ableton you are you should probably do all the lessons first as a bit of time now will pay off massively later!
Warping is the main bit to get a grasp on, then you'll be looking at Midi Mapping....
Take you time, take it slow, be ready to change templates hundreds of times before you get a way of playing that you're happy with, have a look out for Tom COSM, he has a forum and a number of great videos, look up his megaset it's been the inspiration for me in the first week of owning the APC...
Cheers
